« We’d take the convertible and with the top down, we’d go sailing along the highway. We both liked to feel the wind in our faces... », Amy Greene, friend of Marilyn Monroe.
The photographer, Milton Greene, offered Marilyn Monroe the Ford Thunderbird Continental Kit as a Christmas present. Thanks to the vision and ambition of Henry Ford II, this rare model was created. Low slung, sleek and marvellously well balanced, the Ford Thunderbird can stand its own against its English, French and Italian counterparts. Marilyn Monroe, a fanatic of fast cars, adored the purity of its lines and chose it as her wedding car when she married Arthur Miller.
