Where Automotive Heritage Meets Architectural Art

In October 2024, Cartis partnered with the iconic Hôtel Lutetia to host a singular event blending art de vivre, architectural design, and vintage automobiles. A day at the crossroads of disciplines, conceived as a tribute to the great aesthetic movements of the 20th century—and to those who brought them to life.

This collaboration gave rise to a unique immersive experience: a classic car journey interspersed with private tours of four masterpieces of modern and contemporary architecture, all located in the Paris region.

An Exclusive Journey Between Clean Lines and Iconic Volumes

Guests boarded carefully selected models from the Cartis collection to travel between these confidential destinations. At each stop, a bespoke guided tour invited them to delve into the world of a visionary creator, through their choice of materials, proportions, and integration into the landscape.

This refined exploration approached architecture as a living art form—rooted in everyday life and shaped by the cultural transformations of the last century.

A Fully Sensory Experience

Between each stop, the joy of driving was heightened by moments of contemplation. The journey itself, imagined as a visual and emotional thread, offered guests a reading of the landscape through the windows and wood interiors of our three English saloons.

The highlight of the day: a private lunch at the heart of an emblematic site, curated by a partner chef, in an extraordinary architectural setting. A suspended, convivial, and inspiring moment where conversations intertwined built heritage, transmission, and contemporary creation.

A Tribute to French Creativity

This singular format perfectly reflects the shared vision of Cartis and Lutetia: to offer experiences that nourish both the mind and the senses, while celebrating French heritage in all its dimensions—artistic, cultural, artisanal, and industrial.

By connecting major figures of French architecture to the world of classic cars, the event highlighted a natural kinship: one of design, material, craftsmanship, and perspective. A dialogue between disciplines, styles, and eras—inviting both discovery and emotion.
