Age restrictions: over 27 and under 75 years of age.
Driving licence requirements: The renter must have held a valid driving licence for at least 3 years with at least 8 points under the French points system, and must not have incurred a driving licence suspension within the 24 months preceding the rental. For non-EU drivers , an international driving licence is required.
Documents to be produced upon collection of keys: A driving licence, identity card or passport, proof of address, and bank card bearing your full name must be presented upon collection of the keys.
Security deposit: The required security deposit ranges from €4,000 to €6,000, depending on vehicle model. No amount shall be debited from your account; this deposit is merely part of a pre-authorisation procedure using a credit card bearing the driver’s full name.
Rental duration: Rentals last a minimum of 24 hours and begin after the presentation and handover of the vehicle.
Fuel expenses: The price does not include fuel costs and the vehicle must be returned with a full tank of fuel. Otherwise, the renter will be liable to pay the corresponding amount.
Cancellation: In the event of cancellation less than 7 days before the date of availability of the vehicle, the renter will be liable to pay Cartis the full amount due.
Insurance: You are covered in case of theft, fire and all accidental damages. An excess remains at your charge in the event of glass breakage, theft, fire and damage to the vehicle (i.e. damage to external parts, to the vehicle interior or to GPS equipment).
Assistance: In the event of a breakdown or accident, you benefit from personal and vehicle assistance, through the provision of a replacement vehicle.
Parking: From the first day of rental, you can leave your personal vehicle in a client-reserved parking space at our Versailles site.
Fines: Any incurred fines shall be payable by the renter and charged to the driver’s bank card. An additional fee of €20 (excluding VAT) shall be applied to cover the cost of processing the fine.
Exclusions: Wedding rentals and sub-rentals

GPS and charging cable with integrated chosen route: included in price
Printed road book with the chosen route and a selection of recommended hotel and restaurant addresses: included in price
